OP It s perfectly safe though if you re a complete beginner who wants to work out 5 days a week I d recommend easing into it by making 1 2 of those workouts into crosstraining days these I d say 3 days with 1 5 2 hr intense strength training sessions per week is optimal if you have a full time job You may add short half hour or so cardio workouts inbetween if you have a desk
